I looked high and low for this replacement stem for an Arrowhead frostfree outside faucet. After also getting seasick surfing I came across the Chicago shoppe. Right product, and timely shipping.

Customer service is the best. They were able to direct me to the proper stem for an old arrowhead spigot. Received and installed without a hitch. Thanks guys. I’ll be coming back to you for any plumbing replacement parts in the future.

Not Exact Replacement	August 6, 2021

I had read that these may not be exact size for older hydrants, and that is the case with my 20+ year old. But a little filing should fix that and it will then work just like the original. There is a square part at the end of the stem onto which the sealing washer attaches, and this is the piece that is slightly too big.

Replaced the 4" stem that was leaking and stopped the leak. Remember to subtract 4" from your actual stem measurement to get the correct size. (Basically, my 4" stem was really 8" long)

Be sure to figure out what size you need. The way dimensions (length) is measured by the manufacturer may be different that what you expect.

Arrowhead Replacement Stem Needs Filing	December 11, 2020

Good quality product, but the production standards could be a bit better. As seen from other online reviews, frequently these do not go in without a little extra work. It seems like the metal on the bottom piece is about the right size, but the plating added on top makes it too big. Have to take a file and remove the plating and round the corners slightly to pop it in. After that, works great. No more leaky faucet.
