Chicago Faucets MVP Timing Adjustment Guide

All valves are shipped from the factory preset at 5-10 second cycle; however conditons such as water pressure and temperature as well as the rate of flow can effect the timing cycle.
Chicago Faucets MVP Metering/Timing Adjustment Guide
  1. Purge the valve of air by pushing it completely open 4-8 times rapidly and then check the timing cycle
  2. If the water flow is too long, remove the handle and turn the grey adjustment nut counter-clockwise. This will shorten the timing cycle.
  3. If the water does not flow long enough, remove the handle and turn the adjustment nut clockwise. This will increase the timing cycle.
  4. The correct tool to use for turning the adjustment nut is a standard pair of pliers. Other tools should not be used because they may damage the adjustment nut.
NOTE:
Timing must be checked with the handle in place, however it is not necessary to secure the handle to the stem until you are satisfied with the length of your water flow.
