Temptrol, The Basics

There are two primary types of Temptrol^® valves, Standard and S-Style:

Standard Temptrol^® Valve

The standard Temptrol^® tub and(or) shower valve is pressure balancing. All Temptrol valves use the TA-10 solid brass control cartridge with renewable parts and components.

S-Style Temprol^® Valve

The S-Style Temptrol^® valve is the same as the standard, but includes a secondary lever handle that is used for two primary functions. When the unit is used as a shower-only type, the second lever will control volume to the outlet allowing adjustment of flow. When the valve is used as a Tub/Shower type, the secondary lever will control the switching between tub and shower.
