replacement cartridge for shower control
I had installed KWC shower fixtures back in 1994. The cartridge finally failed. The model was old and KWC no longer makes shower fixtures. However, after sending them a picture of the existing fixture, Chicago Faucet Shoppe found me a replacement cartridge. I ordered it and within about a week I received it and installed it. The shower works well now.

Due to an error that I committed on my order for a replacement part. I received a notice from the shipping company that they could not deliver my package. I got my package on time because of help from Chicago Faucet Shoppe.

Works like new faucet
Your factory replacement cartridge gave me a new faucet. It should as it is a factory unit. I also lifted the housing up after taking the old cartridge out so I could lube the lower (and also the top) "o" ring. Only use silicone lube as you do not want to ruin the "o" ring. I got my tube at a pool supply house. It is for filter rings and threaded parts. Do not lubricate with WD-40 or other oil based lubricants. Works great with lubed rings and a new cartridge.

KWC replacement cartridge
Being is St. Louis, and Chicago Faucet in Chicago I was a little skeptical on my first purchase. This was my second purchase for a totally different item for a kitchen faucet. Placed a call, spoke with Andrew in customer service. He was great to work with and verified the part i needed for replacement. Honesty haven’t found a supplier in St. Louis like Chicago Faucet Shoppe. Thanks for your help.

Restocking fee
I had to retun unsued part i purchased but found out about that there is 15% restocking fee, not very nice customer service!!!

Andrew was great. I had ordered the wrong part, and he was able to figure out what I needed from a picture, and guided me through the return process.
