Kohler cable in stock!
Kohler wanted me to replace an $800 medicine cabinet because they did not stock a failed cable, but Chicago Faucet Shoppe had the cable in stock. Ordering was easy and the cable arrived in a few days. The cable came in Kohler packaging and was an exact replacement. And it fixed the problem (embedded lights not working). Very happy this part was available! Saved me $800!

The hard to find item was just as shown. A perfect replacement. It had to be back ordered but didn’t take too long. I’ll order again from here.

Cable replacement
Our Kohler Verdara lighted bathroom mirror's cable had a broken wire after several years of use. I knew it was a wire, as half the lights was still operating. Therefore, a direct replacement cable was necessary. Now, where the inside the cabinet electrical box was located, had been closed with two screws, so remove the screws, and carefully lift up the electrical box. Removing the old cable was simple, just unclip the old cable, making sure you remember which color wires match up during your replacement. The female part must go back into the male part exactly as the broken cable, otherwise the new cable will not light up the mirror lights. That's it!

When I called Kohler to ask how to fix a faulty cable that was causing the LED light to flicker in the medicine cabinet, they told me I’d need to buy a new door for $1000. I decided to search for alternatives and found the replacement cable here. Worked perfectly!

OEM said part wasn't available
When I contacted Kohler about my light being out due to a wire being broken I was told the part wasn't available. With a little research I was able to get the part through Chicago faucet and it even came in the OEM package. I wrote Kohler about it and they reimbursed me for the coat of the wire.

Kohler support had recommended we replace our entire lighted medicine cabinet, which would have been $1000. Frankly, I'm so glad I found Chicago Faucet Shoppe because past reviews helped me learn I could fix it myself with the part I bought. Easy purchase flow. Fast shipping. Highly recommend.

Light went out (1 of 2). Cable not available from Kohler: they recommended new door, almost $500! Got from CFS, FedEx, very reasonable, quick. Will keep them in mind for next time.

Arrived quickly and worked well
Similar to other purchasers, the cabinet light went on and off after a few years and gave it a shot on changing the cable (it’s like when your earphone cable got bad so the sound goes on and off depending on how you grab the cable). It was originally back ordered (got a phone call from the seller) but it arrived within a week. I replaced the cable and the lights are now on again!
