Perfect Match!
The Gerber H9-585 lever was a perfect mechanical match for my old (2003) model Gerber Toilets in my house. Tried a so called "universal" part from a big box store and the tank wall was too thick to get the threads to catch. Even the Gerber 99-585 lever sticks out too much, the only difference is the finish on the handle, but it still looks very nice. Only gripe is the handle is still plastic so do not know why the price is higher, but still worth it because it fits the older toilets.
