Grohe 47157000 Shower Cartridge - Easy Replacement
After considerable AI searching for a replacement of the discontinued Grohe 47157000 TIIEF Shower Cartridge, Chicago Faucet Shoppe popped up as the only remaining supplier. Delivery was prompt, installing cartridge was easy. The replacement part looked identical to what was removed. The new cartridge & trim makes the show look and operate like new.

Grohe cartridge
This was a hard to find part that was sold out at other places and back ordered even at Grohe. This part was received within a week and now our shower works. The part worked perfectly (and my plumber told me some horror stories).

Disappointed that parts can not be returned
I called to return this Cartridge. I was told it was considered a replacement part and could not be return. Will be hard to shop here again without he ability to return an unused, still in the box part.

Defective Product
I purchased this exact replacement for my current shower cartridge hoping to stop it from dripping when the water is turned off. Unfortunately, this cartridge drips, also -- only from the "hot" side. I have to exchange it & hope the next one works correctly.

Replacement for Broken Cartridge
The new cartridge matched the old one perfectly. It was very easy to install, and worked just as the old one had many, many years ago. Packaging was new with product description pamphlet. Chicago Faucet Shoppe's description and images of the product was true to life, and shipping speed was exactly as ordered.
