Huntington Brass ST5000C Complete Cartridge Assy

My shower was leaking and was told I needed to replace a part. I looked around stores (nobody carried it). Was told to look online for it but had no idea of the name of the part. I emailed a photo of a part I was looking for and within 6 hours I had a link sent and the part ordered. Part came in, great conditions, I placed it and it has been working perfectly.

Once I received, called the plumber to install. Unfortunately the part number provided by mfg was incorrect. Contacted original mfg and provided pix of the one sent by Chicago Faucet. They were able to swap me with the CORRECT part, finally have our shower functioning again. Very happy with the customer service support from Chicago Faucet as well as the product.

When I got the cartridge it looked like the original that was in valve body. However after installation now the hot and cold are opposite of what they originally was. When you turn it on it should be cold first and then hot this one is hot first and then cold and doesn’t match the back plate.
