The part is exactly as ordered but I ended up not needing it. Upon review by my plumber, there was a problem above and beyond the need for a cartridge. The fixture was very corroded and otherwise irreparable and had to be replaced. The unfortunate thing is that I can't return the part that I purchased. With that being said, I am "out" the cost of it. GB
