If you’ve been searching for a replacement faucet for your vintage pre-WWII Crane kitchen sink, you’ve probably discovered there aren’t many options left. Unlike most kitchen sinks, these iconic Crane models feature a unique 45° slant-back faucet mounting design, making modern replacements nearly impossible to find.
We’ve been helping customers restore and repair these iconic slant-back Crane sinks for years, and we got tired of telling people there wasn’t a quality replacement available.
We didn’t manufacture a new faucet. We created the replacement these sinks deserved.
Our faucet is assembled using premium solid brass Chicago Faucets valve bodies, Quaturn® quarter-turn ceramic stems, handles, and your choice of L9, L12, GN8, or DJ13 swing spouts. The result is a faucet that stays true to the original's classic style while delivering the durability and reliability of modern plumbing technology. It also features adjustable centers, stainless steel braided supply lines, and a decorative hole cover for the original sprayer opening.
For more than 70 years, The Faucet Shoppe has helped homeowners, plumbers, and restoration professionals keep quality plumbing fixtures in service. Sometimes that means finding the right replacement part. Sometimes it means creating a solution ourselves.
We believe some things are worth saving, and a vintage Crane sink is one of them.
