I received the cartridge in a timely manner and installed it. It didn’t fit right-too short. So I took it out and compared it in detail to the old cartridge. They were definitely different shapes. I immediately thought I had ordered the wrong part. After looking at some installation instructions from Dornbracht (obtained online) I noticed an optional extension part that did not come with the new cartridge. I was able to remove the extension part from the old cartridge and install it on the new cartridge. Got it installed again and working/fitting just fine.
