Kohler 1268722 Female 4 Pin Cable

The original cable in my lighted mirror medicine cabinet broke after about a year. Seems to be a pinch point where the cable comes out of the connector. I called Kohler. They did not have the cable as a replacement part. After some negotiation, they offered to send me a brand new cabinett ($1600 retail). I hoped just to get the cable from the new unit and replace it. They had changed the cable and it did not fit. Having removed the original cable I found a part number. After a Google search I found the cable at Chicage Faucet Shoppe. It was $23. First it was back ordered, but it came earlier than expected. It was a Kohler original part!. The new cable works great. I wrapped a lot of electrical tape around the area where the cable comes out of the connector. I'm amazed that Kohler would rather send me a brand new cabinet than just the cable.

Had the medicine cabinet part which seems simple but it was a unique part.

Kohler Corporate, believe it or not, told me this part was "unavailable" and I had to purchase an entirely new medicine cabinet because one LED cable was frayed and interrmittent. Thank you for an authentic Kohler part, Chicago. Popped right in and now we are enlightened once again!

In the time we would have struggled to place the parts order with Kohler, you delivered with the goods. Within 30 minutes of delivery, I had your replacement part installed and we were back to full operation. We have your website on “speed-dial” now for all future Kohler needs (and we are a house of full Kohler products!).

I have a 2 year old Kohler lighted med cabinet - one side failed to light so I went looking for the part - Chicago had it for a reasonable price and sent it right away. It works! Buy from these guys, not from Kohler!

This is the only site where I get a confirmation that the part I was looking for was the correct one. The person even sent a picture of the part. The price was good and follow up was perfect. I am glad I found this place on the web. Thank you.
