Right part, wrong timing

Purchased the pressure balance cartridge and paid for overnight shipping since I was going out of town 3 days later. The part arrived the day I was leaving and I had to pay a plumber to install a whole new shower valve since he didn't have the part from me. Not only did I pay the additional $75 for shipping that didn't happen, I had to pay another $450 for a new valve. Never again....
